Purpose
The purpose of the Triumph Center is to give people knowledge and tools needed to smooth out the rough road, making the journey back to productivity and society a more comfortable one for all.
Family and friends are often taken on the journey with the addict. Although it is a turn in the road he/she does not want to take, it is the one the addict knows best , βthe comfort zone.β

Recovery is a process . . .
The journey from addiction and/or incarceration (physically or mentally) to independent living is completed on a treacherous road, littered with obstacles that often send the recovering addict back to the comfort of an illegal lifestyle.
Continuity and continuum of care are major issues in health care today in terms of traditional medicine. Addiction is classified in the DSM-IV as a recognized disability. Good care is necessary to help the addicted fully recover. It is most important that the recovering addict feel secure in his/her relapse prevention. A good day program such as T.R.I.U.M.P.H.S. manages and aids recovery on a long-term basis.
Dr. Yancy also does Consulting, Training, and Workshops in Behavior Modification and Community Development.
